Dockside Revival Home
This homeowner was approached to undertake a significant and challenging project in the heart of the canton. Dubbed 'The Water Damage Project', this endeavor aimed to transform a Basement with water damage to a fully functional house.

Challenge:
The original condition of the property on Dock Lathem Trail presented several major issues. The basement was severely affected by water damage due to poor drainage and inadequate waterproofing, which posed structural concerns and reduced livability. Additionally, the outdoor space was undeveloped and uneven, with tree stumps, poor grading, and limited accessibility. The lack of proper sidewalks, driveway connections, and water management infrastructure made the property both inconvenient and risky during heavy rainfall.
Our Solution:
We addressed these challenges by reimagining the property from the ground up—literally. Our team implemented a unique waterproofing system that protects the basement internally, eliminating the need to excavate around the foundation and saving thousands in unnecessary concrete work. We installed a full perimeter sidewalk system with integrated gutters to redirect water flow, preventing future damage and improving safety.
To enhance functionality and aesthetics, we added a new driveway, began construction on a second driveway and a dedicated path to the backyard shed, and leveled the landscape for smoother use. Tree stumps were removed, and grading was corrected to create a flat, versatile surface. The basement is currently undergoing renovation with new window installations to support future bedrooms. This project represents a complete transformation—both in structure and design.
